Thank you very much for participating in
the 「Moments in Japan ―私が出逢った“日本”―」Photo Contest.
Here are the winning photos
selected from among the numerous wonderful submissions.
The Nippon Communications Foundation is holding a photo contest in collaboration with Tokyo Camera Club under the theme of “Moments in Japan.”
Winners will receive wonderful prizes! Additionally, the winning photos will be announced on the Contest results page, which is scheduled to open in late April 2024.
Photo submission is easy! Follow the official Nippon.com Instagram account and the Tokyo Camera Club Campaign Instagram account. Post your submission on Instagram within the contest period (February 5th, 2024 – March 13th, 2024) using the specified contest hashtags, and you're done.
*Please add the specified hashtag at the time of submission or within 24 hours of submission, and during the submission period of the Contest.
Due to changes in Instagram's API, even if you add the specified hashtag to a past post, if that post had been posted for more than 24 hours, the post cannot be downloaded via the Instagram API and therefore will not be eligible. Only submissions that were able to be downloaded using Tokyo Camera Club's system will be considered (please do not inquire as to whether or not your submission has been downloaded).
*The Contest is conducted by Tokyo Camera Club. Meta Platforms, Inc. and Instagram are not affiliated with the Contest in any way.
You may use any camera or device to take your photos. We look forward to seeing your wonderful photos of Japan.
Regardless of the award status, all submissions and comments may be featured by the Nippon Communications Foundation’s Instagram account, the Nippon Communications Foundation’s multilingual website “Nippon.com” and social media, relative websites and media, Tokyo Camera Club, etc. Please note, that we may resize or crop submissions and comments when featuring. We will contact you when featuring your submissions.
*Private accounts and posts without the specified hashtags will not be eligible for the Contest.
*Please note that submissions made just before the deadline may not be downloadable through the Instagram API. Only submissions that were able to be downloaded using our system will be considered, so we encourage you to submit your work early. (Please do not inquire as to whether your submissions have been downloaded or not.)
Nippon.com, a web magazine focusing on Japanese culture and society, will hold a photo contest this year on Instagram for residents of Japan. We invite you to share your Japanese encounters with others in the world under the theme of "Moments in Japan."
