Thank you very much for participating in the
Worth the Visit! My Favorite KANSAI Photo Contest.
Here are the winning photos
selected from among the numerous wonderful submissions.
The EXPO2025KANSAI Tourism Council is hosting a photo contest in collaboration with Tokyo Camera Club under the theme of “Worth the Visit! My Favorite KANSAI.” The winning entries will be announced on the contest results page (scheduled for late August 2025).
We're looking for your best photos of "Worth the Visit!" spots around the Kansai region. Outstanding entries will be displayed at the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai venue and on the Tokyo Camera Club's official website.
The eligible areas include the following 10 prefectures and 4 ordinance-designated cities in the Kansai region:
Fukui Prefecture, Shiga Prefecture, Kyoto Prefecture, Kyoto City in Kyoto Prefecture, Osaka Prefecture, Osaka City in Osaka Prefecture, Sakai City in Osaka Prefecture, Hyogo Prefecture, Kobe City in Hyogo Prefecture, Tottori Prefecture, Nara Prefecture, Wakayama Prefecture, Mie Prefecture, and Tokushima Prefecture.
Entering is easy! Follow the "Kansai region Guide | Japan Travel" Instagram account and the Tokyo Camera Club Campaign Instagram account. Post your photo on Instagram with the designated hashtags during the contest period (April 21 to June 30, 2025), and your entry is complete!
*Hashtags must be added either at the time of posting
or within 24 hours after posting, and during the contest period.
Due to changes in Instagram's API, photos cannot be downloaded through the API if you add the specified hashtag to posts that are more than 24 hours old, making them ineligible for judging. Only photos that Tokyo Camera Club's system can successfully download via the Instagram API will be considered for the contest. (Please refrain from inquiring whether your photo has been successfully downloaded.)
*This contest and Tokyo Camera Club’s social media accounts are operated by Tokyo Camera Club using Facebook and Instagram services, and are not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta Platforms, Inc. or Instagram in any way.
Any camera or device may be used for your photos. We look forward to seeing your wonderful photos of KANSAI.
*Please note that submitted photos and their comments, not limited to winning entries, may be used for tourism promotion by the "Kansai region Guide | Japan Travel" Instagram account and participating organizations (government bodies and companies) of the EXPO2025KANSAI Tourism Council. Additionally, your photos may be featured on related websites, media platforms, and by Tokyo Camera Club. When featuring your entries, we may crop your photos or excerpt comments. The Tokyo Camera Club Campaign Office will make every effort to contact you beforehand.
*Entries will be ineligible if: your account is private, your posts lack the required hashtags, or your photos cannot be properly viewed. Please ensure your posts meet these requirements.
*Please be aware that photos posted close to the deadline may not be downloadable via the Instagram API. As only photos successfully downloaded through the Instagram API by Tokyo Camera Club's system will be eligible for judging, we encourage you to post your photos well in advance. (Please refrain from inquiring whether your photo has been successfully downloaded.)
